This policy covers AFib Log, the iOS AFib logging app. We built AFib Log to keep your health data off our servers entirely. Your EKG readings, annotations, and history live in your own private iCloud account, not ours.
EKG readings and health data. Your imported EKGs, symptom and trigger tags, notes, and any Apple Health data AFib Log reads (heart rate, irregular rhythm notifications) are stored on your device and synced only through your own private iCloud account (via Apple's CloudKit). We never receive, see, or store this data on any server we operate. AFib Log only ever reads from Apple Health; it never writes anything back.
Purchase data. If you unlock AFib Log Lifetime, Apple and our payments partner (RevenueCat) process your purchase and provide us a subscriber identifier and entitlement status. We do not receive or store your payment details. Apple handles billing directly.
Product analytics. If enabled, we collect a small, fixed set of anonymous usage events (e.g. app opens, feature usage counts, onboarding progress, purchase outcomes) to understand how the app is used. This allow-list is enforced in code, not just policy: no event we send is capable of carrying an EKG reading, rhythm classification, symptom, note, or any other clinical data.
Analytics data, where collected, is used only to understand feature usage and improve the app. It is never sold or shared with advertisers.
Purchase/entitlement data is used only to determine whether AFib Log Lifetime features are available to you.
Since your health data lives in your own iCloud account, deleting the app (or turning off iCloud sync for AFib Log in Settings) is entirely your decision, and we have no copy to delete on our end. AFib Log also includes a "Delete All My Data" action in Settings that removes everything, locally and from your iCloud sync, without needing to delete the app itself. You can manage or cancel any purchase anytime in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
If you connect Apple Health, that connection and everything it shares is controlled by you in the Health app's own privacy settings. You can revoke access at any time; your already-imported readings stay visible, but nothing new imports until access is restored.
